EMIRATES, the Dubai-based international airline, has launched a toll-free number for all its travel agents and passengers in Karnataka. The new Emirates service, can be reached on 1-600-44-7979.

This follows the airline's launch of the country's first international airline call-centre at Mumbai.

On dialling the toll-free number (1-600-44-7979) between 9.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m., passengers can connect to a call-centre owned by Emirates and can make queries related to re-confirmations, bookings, baggage, flight availability, timings and schedules.

Emirates currently operates 42 flights weekly with 18 flights between Mumbai and Dubai, seven flights weekly between Delhi and Dubai, four flights weekly between Chennai and Dubai, eight non-stop weekly flights between Hyderabad and Dubai and five flights between Kochi and Dubai.
