Hyderabad , Aug. 29

SDV Technologies, a banking and financial solutions company, is planning to set up a 100-seat business process outsourcing (BPO) centre in Chennai later this year, besides going for a public issue by November-end.

Addressing newspersons here on Friday, Mr D. Sri Siva Kumaraha, Chief Executive Officer, said the BPO initiative would focus on the banking and financial services segments.

The company, which registered a turnover of Rs 50 lakh in 2002-03, had Rs 5-crore worth projects on hand, he added.

The company launched core banking and cluster-based centralised solutions. While the former targets small banks, the latter caters to big banks.

It also launched `Infobureau', an IT solution that provides complete information on various schemes offered by banks. "This will help banks cut down on HR spending," he said.
