Advertising LINOpinion affiliated to Golin Harris Purvita Chatterjee
Mumbai, Sept. 2 INTERNATIONAL networks moving into India are here to set standards for the nascent PR industry. The latest entrant is the IPG group company - Golin Harris, which has appointed LINOpinion as an affiliate to make an entry into the Indian market. LINOpinion, the Lintas public relations division, has announced the formalisation of its exclusive relationship with Golin Harris, one of the world's leading communication initiatives firm. LINOpinion, will represent Golin Harris as its exclusive partner for India. LINOpinion, and Golin Harris are a part of the Interpublic Group of companies - the world's largest communications group. This global partnership will result in a reach, which extends to more than 4,000 multinational, regional and local clients in 110 countries around the world. Present clients and associates of LINOpinion, will now have the opportunity to access 27,000 professionals in over 100 countries as well as their respective media network. Golin Harris' expertise and resources will be available to LINOpinion's brands and partners. Elaborating on the alliance, Mr Ameer Ismail, President, LINOpinion, said, "LINOpinion, will have access to Golin Harris' international perspective, global expertise and best practices in servicing systems. Our clients will benefit through the cross-border knowledge sharing programmes that have already been initiated. In the future, we also expect to see a global alignment of our clients as well as a creation of international work opportunities for our employees". Besides, Golin Harris will also help LINOpinion in bagging business from its existing clients already present in India apart from helping the Indian agency in servicing its erstwhile international clients. For instance, clients such as DHL Worldwide and Cotton Council of India, which are already serviced by Golin Harris, could well come under the fold of LINOpinion. Adds Mr Ismail, ``Today international PR companies are looking at India. In fact companies like Golin Harris is also looking at acquisitions.'' Among the South Asian countries, Golin Harris has already set up operations in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. Bringing its proprietary research in the area of building trust for companies, Golin Harris is expected to help clients wanting to enter the Indian market. Apart from Golin Harris, there also exists another IPG group PR company, Shandwik that has floated a joint venture with the Indian PR firm, Corporate Voice. LINOpinion develops and implements communications strategies and programmes that support the goals and vision of an organisation.
