Kerala HC notice to CSE, Pepsico

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has impleaded the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and Pepsico India Holdings Pvt Ltd as a respondents in a pending writ petition seeking a directive for getting the samples of Coca-Cola analysed at a reputed laboratory.

The court also issued notice to the CSE and the Pepsico on an application filed by the petitioner Mr M.R. Ajayan, journalist, seeking to implead them in the writ petition. The petition had sought a directive to the Central and State governments, the Chairman, Central Committee for Food Standards and the Director General Health Services to test the samples of Coca Cola.
