MASTERCARD International has launched `Win with Maestro', a four-month long festival for Maestro debit cardholders in Bangalore.

Similar campaigns will be rolled out to select cities in the next four to six weeks. Two hundred merchant establishments will participate in this festival.

MasterCard aims to increase the level of awareness of debit cards, encourage activation of new Maestro cards and increase the use of Maestro debit cards in the country.

Several incentive-based interactive programmes planned for cardholders, merchant establishments and employees of partner banks, will help in achieving these objectives, Mr Nitin Gupta, Vice-President and General Manager, South Asia, MasterCard International, said.
