A THREE-DAY international exhibition `Good Governance India' and a conference on `Good Urban Governance — Making Cities Work' would be held here from October 29. Fairfest Media Ltd, an organiser of trade fairs in the country, will be holding both the events with the support of 25 other organisations.

According to the Fairfest Director-General, Mr V. He told newspersons here on Monday that the events would provide an opportunity for sharing information and best practices for urban governance, sound financial management, sustainable technologies for all basic services and infrastructure development.

The target audience for both the events include all stakeholders, policy makers, mayors, commissioners, city managers, housing and utility providers.

The Fairfest Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Sanjiv Agarwal, said the entire exercise was estimated to cost Rs 50 lakh.
