Ensim to expand Indian operations

ENSIM India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the US-based Ensim Corporation, is set to expand its operations. It plans to invest about $5 million in the next 12 months. The US company is a provider of control panels and server management software for the Web-hosting industry,

The Chief Operating Officer of Ensim India, Mr Arvind Kher, told Business Line that the company had acquired a critical mass in India and had about 100 people which would be doubled over the next year or so. This will mean an investment of about $5 million in India in both infrastructure and people.

Having a distinguished board that includes Mr Kanwal Rekhi, its President and CEO, the company has a cash pile of about $85 million raised through three rounds of funding.
