Alstom bags $430-m order from Jindal group co

New Delhi , Sept. 9

ALSTOM Projects India Ltd (APIL) has bagged a $430 million order from JSW Private Power Ltd, for delivery of a 100 MW blast furnace boiler plant.

JSW Private Power Ltd is a group company of the Jindal group.

The boiler will be one of the largest gas fired boilers to be supplied by APIL, Durgapur, in close cooperation with Alstom's North American operations, according to an official release.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 18 months and will be located at Toranagallu, near Bellary, Karnataka.
