New Delhi , Sept. 18 IN order to become a `one-stop-shop' in the office automation business, National Panasonic India Pvt Ltd, which is targeting a turnover of Rs 400 crore this fiscal plans to strengthen and expand its channels to aggressively push its products. At the launch of its new range of office automation products, Mr Takeshi Ikeda, Director, Systems Product Division (SPD) of the company said, "it is a conscious strategy on our part to increase contribution of this division in our sales. The launch of these products shows the attention we are paying to the Indian market. We want to be a one-stop solution provider to all office automation needs. In another two years we expect SPD alone to be worth Rs 500 crore." SPD currently accounts for 30 per cent of the company's Indian operations. "This year we are targeting to contribute close to 50 per cent to the company's operations," he said. If the growth continues as expected Mr Ikeda, also hinted at setting up of a separate System Integration Company in India. "We have 260 channel partners and 85 service franchisees across the country. We plan to increase these numbers. "Besides, the marketing focus is not product specific but focuses on product solutions from the `office reception to the boardroom'," Mr Shashi Bhushan, Head-Marketing, SPD, told Business Line. The product range includes basic telephones, key telephone systems (EPABX), Workios (multi-functional devices), LCD projectors and Panaboards (electronic copy boards), cordless and GSM phones.
