SBI, Bajaj Auto sign pact

Mumbai , Sept. 18

STATE Bank of India and Bajaj Auto Ltd on Thursday announced a strategic tie-up to offer loans for its two-wheeler customers.

The two entities signed an agreement entering into a preferred relationship for extending consumer finance all across the country.

Bajaj Auto has embarked on a major retail thrust to offer consumer finance schemes to consumers across 1,500 authorised dealerships and sales outlets across the country.

SBI has also identified consumer and two-wheeler finance as a major focus activity to be undertaken from the 9,000 odd branches across the country.
