Indian Hotels board meet on Oct 1

Mumbai , Sept 19

INDIAN Hotels Company Ltd today informed the BSE that its board is scheduled to meet on October 1, to consider a proposal on whether or not to make a bid for acquiring a hotel property overseas.

IHCL's spokesperson declined further detail on the property or geography involved, but said a couple of options were looking attractive and the board's decision would enable the management to move appropriately.
