ABN Amro launches pvt banking services in Bangalore

Bangalore , Sept. 19

ABN Amro Bank has launched its private banking service in Bangalore. Such service has already been rolled out in Mumbai a year ago and in Delhi about six months ago, Country Representative, Mr Romesh Sobti, said.

The bank currently has 165 clients under private banking and has close to Rs 450 crore assets under administration.

Such a service is likely to find significant takers among the sizable software sector workers, bank officials said.

A person with an investible surplus of Rs 2 crore can avail of this select service. Organisations such as NGOs or Trusts could also avail off this facility, Mr Sobti said.
