Tiruchengodu weaving park: Interactive meet tomorrow

AN interactive meet for prospective entrepreneurs seeking investment into the proposed `Cauvery Hi-tech Weaving Park' project district would be held on September 23 at the SSM College of Engineering premises at the powerloom weaving centre of Komarapalayam in Namakkal district.

The facilitation meet would be attended by officials from the Textile Ministry including the regional director of the office of Textile Commissioner, Mr Nagesh Mugadur, the convenor of the Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council's (PDEXCIL) extension panel, Mr M.S. Mathivanan, besides officials from banks/FIs and project consultants, according to PDEXCIL sources. The meet would also offer details on the group workshed scheme (GWS) and the textile centre infrastructure development scheme.
