TIE meeting on entrepreneurship tomorrow

TIE Kerala chapter is organising a meet on `Building an Entrepreneurial Kerala' on Wednesday, to be attended by some of the successful entrepreneurs of Silicon Valley.

The list includes some of the Trustees and Charter Members of TIE Global, which started its operations from the Silicon Valley in the US. The discussion will be led by the likes of Mr Gururaj Deshpande, the influential technology entrepreneur whose Sycamore Network created a fundamental shift in the role and architecture of optical fibre network.

Mr Deshpande is the Chairman of the TIE Board of Trustees. Also present will be Mr Kanwal Rekhi, who became the first Indian on board of a billion-dollar multinational technology company, Novell. Mr Rekhi is a member on the board of Trustees of TIE.

Mr Sridar Iyengar, President of TIE, Silicon Valley, and Director of Infosys will also participate in the discussions. Mr Saurabh Srivastava, President of TIE Delhi and Member of TIE Board of Trustees, will also be present.

The others who will participate in the meeting include Mr Sam Mathan, ex-President and CEO of Amber Networks and Mr Vish Mishra, who is a partner with Clearstone Venture.
