Altair unveils new software

BANGALORE: Altair Engineering has announced the release of Altair HyperWorks 6.0, the next generation of its computer aided engineering software.

The new software delivers an advanced engineering desktop solution for use in any industry or PLM system, where products need to be highly engineered, the company said in a press release.

HyperWorks 6.0 introduces four new products and a list of advancements in modelling, analysis, optimization, visualization, process automation and manufacturing simulation — all within an open engineering framework, it said.
