Vepa Kamesam gets extension

Mumbai , Sept. 23

THE Union Government has granted an extension in service to Mr Vepa Kamesam, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

The extension has been granted for a period of three months from September 24, beyond the age of superannuation of 62 years, said an RBI press release.

Mr Kamesam was originally appointed as a Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, on July 1, 2001, for a period of two years.
