Samsung plans exclusive outlets for mobiles

New Delhi, Sept. 25

SAMSUNG India Electronics Ltd is embarking upon an aggressive retail initiative for its mobile phones, under which it will set up exclusive outlets and 75 shop-in-shop outlets in the country. The company has opened its first `Super Plaza' for mobile phones in Mumbai, which will offer the full range of Samsung phones and accessories.

Meanwhile, the 75 shop-in-shop outlets, which will be called Samsung Mobile Privileged Partners (SMPPs), are set come up before the end of the year. Apart from showcasing the company's products, the SMPPs will also provide customers with after sales service.
