Thiruvananthapuram , Sept. 29

TOONZ Animation India has announced that three of its home productions have been selected for the Chicago International Children's Film Festival (CICFF) 2003, to be held in Chicago from October 23 to November 2.

A company official said here that Cut Bunny, written and directed by Manasa Rao, The Flame Who Loved To Dance (Ujwal Nair) and 123 Math Toon (Akhilesh Ananth) have been short-listed for screening at the finals from over 500 entries received by CICFF.

While Cute Bunny will be screened at Chicago's famous Facets Cinema Multi Media on October 26, The Flame Who Loved To Dance and 123 Math Toon will be on show at the Vittum Theatre on November 2. Two hundred films from all over the world have been selected for the final screening.

The official quoted Mr Bill Dennis, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Producer at Toonz Animation India, as saying the company was honoured to have three of its films nominated for consideration in the Chicago fest. All three films had emerged out of the last edition of Children's Animation Workshop, an annual event conducted by the company.
