C&K Management Ltd, a Hyderabad-based content and knowledge management company, has developed a knowledge portal on the insurance industry for chartered accountants (CAs).

In a release, the company said that the insurance industry has widened the horizons for CAs, opening up new avenues of professional excellence and growth.

However, CAs aspiring for a role in this industry and insurance professionals are being bombarded with a flood of information from various sources.

According to the company, to become successful one has to stay contemporary in the emerging arena, which calls for a one-stop, easily accessible solution to cope with the information explosion.

To meet this requirement, C&K Management has developed the online knowledge space called Gyan i. According to the Gyan i Chief Architect, Mr T. Muralidharan, one can log on to www.themanagementor.com/irm for more details.

The Web site provides latest information on life and non-life insurance products and services, regulations, industry, companies, claims and crime, and premium-related news, reviews and snapshots of research papers and articles, technology updates and contemporary quotient, an online quiz, and issues related to the insurance industry.

For budding insurance professionals, students and aspirants of diploma in insurance and risk management (IRM) course (a post-qualification course for CAs by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), the Web site provides announcements related to IRM course, including examination dates, results, seminar and workshop schedules, notifications, changes in rules and regulations, electronic version of the prospectus and a mail online facility for sourcing more information directly from the Institute, the release said.
