FICCI signs pact with London chamber

THE Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has signed an agreement of cooperation to promote and strengthen the development of economic and trade relations and co-operation between the member companies of both on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
Dr Amit Mitra, Secretary-General, FICCI, and Mr Subhash Thakrar, Board Member, LCCI, signed the agreement. Both parties will, on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, promote the co-operation between companies and economic, trade and financial institutions of both countries paying attention to the co-operation between small and medium-sized enterprises.
With this agreement, according to FICCI, both parties will, within their respective responsibilities, exchange economic, trade and legal information.
They will also actively seek concrete ways and means of co-operation, and, on the basis of mutual assistance, will hold events for businessmen from both countries, and exchange delegations.
