HEG completes textile divestment

Our Bureau

New Delhi , Oct. 6

GRAPHITE Electrodes manufacturer HEG Ltd has completed the divestment of its textiles business located at Rishabdev in Rajasthan.

The Rishabdev textile unit, which has been demerged with effect from April 1, has now been merged with Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd, a LNJ Bhilwara Group Company. The completion of the Rishabdev unit's de-merger has resulted in HEG emerging as a focused graphite electrodes company.

A statement issued by HEG said that the de-merger would allow it to focus on its core competence and enable the company to become a dominant player in the graphite electrodes business.
