New Products & Services LG unveils IT peripherals Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Oct. 8 LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd has launched IT peripheral products here on Wednesday. The latest offerings from the company include `My Key' keyboards, 32 X CD-RW optical storage devices and 23- inch and 18-inch monitors. According to Mr R. Manikandan, Deputy General Manager (IT marketing) of LG, the Internet-ready multimedia keyboards have special features to optimise the whole PC usage experience such as multimedia keys, Internet surfing keys and power keys. Its features include seven extra keys to control multimedia functions such as volume control, play, stop and rewind. The keyboard is priced at Rs 650. Mr Manikandan told newspersons that the 32X CD-RW comes with 2MB buffer and supports drag and drop CD copying. It also features anti-flutter system (AFS) for improved high-speed recording quality. The drive was priced at Rs 2,400 and comes with a warranty of one year. On the monitor front, the two models come with light view technology, allowing users to freely adjust brightness and colour temperature according to the computing situations. They are thin and wall mountable and have features like built-in power adapter, wide viewing angle and auto adjustment functions. The 18-inch and the 23-inch monitors are priced at Rs 55,000 and Rs 2.25 lakh (excluding speakers) respectively.
