DHL Express opens Stripes Club for regular customers

Mumbai , Oct. 15

DHL Express, the global air express services provider in India, has launched its customer relationship programme, DHL Stripes Club, for customers who use DHL regularly. DHL Stripes Club offers special rewards and privileges to its customers.

Mr Chris Callen, Country Manager, DHL Express, said: "We wanted a special relationship programme that not only rewards our customers but also provides incentives to take further advantage of DHL's gold standard of service."

He added, "DHL has made heavy investments in data warehousing and data mining tools with a long-term vision. DHL Stripes Club is a result of an extensive customer database analysis. This has helped us design Stripes Club as a special tool to help in building long-term customer affinity — more so than a purely points-based loyalty programme would achieve."

The programme offers a range of benefits for members, from free subscription to international magazines to accessing premium knowledge seminars and from special gifts to free invitations to trade events.

DHL expects more than 3,000 exporters to enrol in Stripes Club, which would represent more than 60 per cent of DHL's annual revenue.
