Kerala: Save Grain Campaign

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram centre of the Save Grain Campaign, under the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, will be conducting a stipendiary 10-day training course for 50 farmers of Elappulli panchayat.

As part of the programme, which starts on October 21, farmers would be provided with practical and theoretical training to eliminate rat menace and on storage of grains through modern methods. Those who complete the training successfully would get a certificate and a modern grain container of 110-kg capacity. Those interested have been asked to present themselves at the Elappulli Panchayat Community Hall at 10 am on October 21.
