BANGALORE: With network security management becoming an increasingly important sector of the IT industry, Mumbai-based Lanner Electronics India Ltd (LEIL) has come out with a network security appliance, specially for small and medium enterprises and the small office-home office (SOHO) segment.

Lanner India's product comes with standard solutions to suit the Indian companies environs, especially that of smaller companies, according to Mr P.K. Jain, Managing Director.

The Rs 150-crore security network security management market is largely dominated by big companies such as Cisco. However, Lanner, which made a soft launch only a few months ago, has had good response for its products.

Lanner India, a joint venture between D Link India and Lanner Electronics, USA, offers a full line of standard products, --industrial single board computers, embedded single board computers, KVM switches and firewall platforms.
