Blue Dart Express second quarter net up 38 pc

BLUE Dart Express Ltd, the air express, courier and logistics company, has recorded a net profit of Rs 6.64 crore in the second quarter, an increase of 38 per cent over the Rs 4.81 crore recorded in the same period last year.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 12.19 crore in the first-half, as against Rs 10.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.

According to an official release, income from operations increased to Rs 88.56 crore, up 11 per cent on the Rs 80.08 crore posted in the corresponding previous quarter.
