Win Medicare targets 11 pc turnover growth

THE Delhi-based pharma company, Win Medicare (P) Ltd, has launched a medical gel used to treat scars, called Contractubex.

The gel is a patent formulation from Germany's Merz GmbH and has been used by surgeons, gynaecologists and dermatologists, among others, for treating scars that result from burns, injuries, accidents, acne etc.

Priced at Rs 460 for a 20 gm pack, Contractubex is a prescription drug and is brought into India through Win Medicare's licensing agreement with Merz Pharma, according to a communiqué issued by the company.

Win Medicare targets a 11 per cent rise in turnover and according to Mr S.S. Aurora, Vice-President - Sales and Marketing, exports of the company are expected to rise from Rs 10 crore to Rs 14 crore, while revenues are pegged to grow to Rs 122 crore from Rs 110 crore, this year.
