Moral code

This is with reference to the article "God's words in courtroom battles" (Business Line, October 23). Though the Ten Commandments can be found in certain religious texts their appeal extends beyond any particular religion.

They (the Ten Commandments) are only a moral code for civilised society to abide by to live a strife-free life.
