Retailing Sagas Autotec plans LPG bunks in Karnataka Our Bureau
MANGALORE: The Mysore-based Sagas Autotec Pvt Ltd is likely to set up 10 LPG bunks in the State, according to Mr S.P. Sanjay, Director, Sagas Autotec Pvt Ltd. Of these, six are likely to be set up in Bangalore, three in Mysore and one in Mangalore. Apart from this, the company is planning to supply LPG kits to boats. The company claims that this will save Rs 500 on a 25 hp boat. Addressing presspersons here, Mr Sanjay said the gas kits developed by the company were also being exported. The gas kits under the brand name "Sree LPG Autokit" are being used in autorickshaws in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, he said adding that nearly 1,000 autorickshaws in Mangalore have switched over to these gas kits.
