Computer wing renovated

HYDERABAD: The Commercial Taxes Department has renovated its Central Computer Wing (CCW) at a cost of Rs 25 lakh recently. The upgraded CCW, which is equipped with a modern Data Centre, can handle complex transactions being taken up by the department, a press release said.

"In case of a break down of servers at the head office, the servers at the divisional offices act as stand-by systems till such time when the servers at the head quarters are restored," it added.
