Aptech's new Chennai facility

BANGALORE: Aptech Limited plans to expand its content development capacity by setting up a dedicated content outsourcing facility in Chennai.

The company presently has a 100-seater content design development facility spread between Mumbai and Chennai. The Chennai facility would house approximately 150 content developers, visualisers, graphic artists and instructional designers in the first phase.

Mr V.K. Garg, Head of Content Development at Aptech, remarked "We are planning to recruit more than 100 professionals over the next one year with competencies in multimedia technologies for SCORM and AICC-compliant content development."

Aptech plans to earn in 20 per cent of its total revenues from content development work.
