Vigilance awareness week in Mangalore

MANGALORE: The former Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Prof B.M. Hegde, has emphasised the need for the individuals to strive for a corruption-free world.

Participating in a function to observe `Vigilance Awareness Week', organised by Corporation Bank, here on Monday, he stressed the need to follow the principle of "walk one's talk". The bank is observing `Vigilance Awareness Week' till November 8.

Mr M.V. Nair, General Manager of the bank, presided over the function. Mr V.A. Mendonsa, General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer of the bank, welcomed the gathering. Mr D.N. Kamath, Assistant General Manager, proposed a vote of thanks.
