Socio-economic survey of Srivilliputtur

MADURAI: A detailed socio-economic survey of Srivilliputtur Assembly constituency is to be carried out by the NSS volunteers of Madurai-Kamaraj University.

Claimed to be the first of its kind in the history of the university, the survey has been allocated a seed money of Rs 1 lakh. About 3,700 volunteers of 12 colleges affiliated to the university would act as enumerators.
