Retailing Corporate - Alliances & Joint Ventures Friedman group ties up with Pearl Academy of Fashion Our Bureau
New Delhi , Nov. 5 THE US-based retail consultancy and training organisation, the Friedman Group, has announced an alliance with the Pearl Academy of Fashion (I) Ltd, with the objective of offering retail consultancy services in India. Announcing this, Mr Harry Friedman, founding Chief Executive Officer of The Friedman Group said, "With rapid growth in retailing in the Indian market, there exists a need to provide sales, customer service and management skills." Mr A.K.G. Nair, Executive Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion, said, "The current decade has witnessed a dramatic metamorphosis of the Indian retail sector. Issues such as customer care, relationship management, quality of service and customer loyalty programmes have emerged as core areas of concern.
