ECIL bags R&D award

ELECTRONICS Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) has been chosen for the DSIR National Award for `R&D efforts in the Industry' by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, in the Computer Software category 2002 - 03.

The National Award was presented on Monday to Mr G.P. Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, ECIL, by Mr Bachi Singh Rawat, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology in the inaugural session of the 17th National conference on In-house R & D in Industry held at FICCI Golden Jubilee Auditorium, New Delhi, according to an ECIL communiqué.
