New Products & Services Hasbro launches Primo Cotton trousers Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Nov 13 HASBRO, a 12-year-old menswear company that opened its second exclusive outlet here on Thursday, has launched wrinkle-free and stain-free `Primo Cotton' trousers that would be on racks from Friday. The new trousers are targeted at the young executives. The company, which has targeted to achieve a 70 per cent growth in the current fiscal over its last year turnover of Rs 18 crore, has plans to open five more exclusive outlets in the country by 2004. Hasbro currently has 17 exclusive stores in the country and two exclusive showrooms in Colombo in Sri Lanka. This apart, its two brands - Genesis and Basics - are being sold through over 200 multi-brand outlets (MBO) across the country. Hasbro's partner, Mr Hanif Sattar, told newspersons that Karnataka was the next target of the company, with an exclusive showroom at Bangalore on the cards. Earlier in the year, Hasbro made its foray into the Kerala market where it had tied-up with top retailers across the State. The company manufactures trousers in Bangalore and shirts in Chennai. He said that priced at Rs 1,199, the primo trousers have 40 per cent more yarn per square inch than the run of the mill trouser. They were teflon coated and hence liquids would just roll off, leaving the trousers stain-free.
