Satyam to set up centre in Toronto

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Countries like Canada are set to play a critical role in the global outsourcing strategy. While Canada is the near shore option to clients in the US, it also offers talent which companies such as Satyam can tap in delivering value to customers in local and global markets, according to Mr B. Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam Computers Ltd.

The company is working on setting up its first solutions centre in Toronto to be operational in coming months. Since 1995, Satyam has been providing IT solutions to Fortune companies in Canada. It opened its first office in Toronto in early 2003 to provide better service to local clients and offer a near shore option to its US customers.
