Rly electrification plan

KOCHI: The electrification of Ernakulam-Kayamkulam section of the railway line would be completed by March 31, while that of Kayamkulam - Thiruvananthapuram section by December 2004, according to Mr V. Anand, Southern Railway General Manager.

Mr Anand, who was on an inspection visit to Kottayam railway station, said that the doubling of Ernakulam - Kayamkulam line would take four years to complete.
