Sanitation at Sabarimala

KOCHI: The Sabarimala Sanitation Society (SSS) will deploy 435 sanitation workers at Sabarimala for cleaning operations during the pilgrimage season beginning on November 17. According to the District Collector, Pathanamthitta, the workers would be paid Rs 100 per day while the Travancore Devaswom Board would provide free food and accommodation at Pampa and Sannidhanam. The workers would be given photo identity cards, he added.
