RUBBER prices declined as the international markets continued to move down narrowing the difference with the domestic prices.

All the grades lost and sheet rubber RSS 4 closed at Rs 52.50 per kg against Tuesday's Rs 53. The sentiment in the market turned negative as buyers retreated withholding the purchase orders.

The world market at Bangkok recorded RSS 3 at Rs 54.06 against Tuesday's Rs 59.28. The impact of the global price fall will follow and enhanced selling pressure from growers and traders is expected towards the weekend, sources said.

The rubber futures also followed the downtrend on Wednesday, quoting the December delivery at Rs 54.50 per kg (Rs 54.75), January at Rs 55.52 (Rs 56.57), February at Rs 57.72 (Rs 58.59), March at Rs 58.71 (Rs 59.85), and April delivery at Rs 59.86 (Rs 60.80) for RSS 4.
