THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has forwarded Kerala's finance accounts and appropriation accounts for the year 2002-03 to the State Government.

The CAG prepares finance accounts of State Governments every year, showing the annual receipts and disbursement for the State under the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971. The CAG also compiles appropriation accounts of the State Government showing excess or savings under each grant or appropriation passed by the Legislature.
