Dishnet open to TTSL buying stake

DISHNET DSL Ltd is open to the idea of Tata TeleServices Ltd (TTSL) acquiring a stake in the company. Talks in this regard are currently being held, according to Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar, Chairman of Dishnet DSL Ltd.

Stating this during an interface with newspersons on the sidelines of Infocom 2003 here today, Dr Bhatkar said the company presently provided broadband access to TTSL's CDMA-based basic telephone services platform.

He said Dishnet DSL had revived the under sea cable project connecting Chennai with Singapore.
