Saudi group plans to expand India operations

INTERNATIONAL Research and Marketing Est, a Saudi Arabia-based diversified group, has announced plans to locate a trading centre in Hyderabad, expand its IT services arm from 50 to 200 people and reach out its ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions for the paper industry.

IRME, which has presence in the US, Qatar, Egypt, sees huge potential for mutual trade.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Sheik Hussain Naseer, IRME Group President, and Mr Asif Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, announced the launch a general trading and export facilitation office and ePrimac, printing industry, management and control solution.

This product has been launched by Vercom Software Inc, the US-based subsidiary of IRME. The US paper industry is the third largest manufacturing vertical in the US, Mr Michael Cook, Chief Executive Officer of Vercom, said.

The Hyderabad centre, which will be part of Telecom Plus, a group company offering IT solutions, has 50 personnel. The company has applied to the Software Technology Parks of India, Hyderabad, for registration. They said Vercom had teamed up with Hyderabad-based Virinchi Software to market the latter's e-procurement solution with ePrimac.
