Singer stops UP unit operations

MUMBAI: Singer India Ltd has informed the BSE that it has discontinued its manufacturing operations at its factory in Uttar Pradesh and has paid the workers all their dues in full and final settlement as per the arrangement for voluntary separation.

The manufacturing operations will be continued at the company's other factory situated at Jammu. This action of the management will save recurring cost of overhead at its Sahibabad factory.
