IA re-launches holiday packages for UAE

Vimala Vasan

Abu Dhabi , Nov. 22

INDIAN Airlines has re-launched its holiday packages meant for the UAE market. The packages, which were initially introduced in May, have been received well and has prompted IA to re-launch the packages with even better features, Mr Aloke Singh, the airline's Manager for UAE, said on Saturday.

The packages offer unique opportunity for travellers to see the many splendours of India, including the snow-capped mountains, the beaches, the architectural wonders, the historical sights and the natural beauty of the land.

Mr Singh said the packages are attractively priced. For a little more than the air fare, accommodation in hotels has been thrown in together with ground transfers, sight seeing and meals. Over 70 selected properties in 30 cities are available through the packages. Information on the deals can be had at the Web site www.indianairlinespackages.com. Travel agents can make bookings for clients online and customers can browse through all the options with all fares clearly mentioned, Mr Singh told Business Line.

The packages have a wide range on offer. IA has direct connectivity from the UAE to Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvanathapuram, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur, Goa and Ahmedabad, where the holiday packages are available.

In addition, other destinations are covered over major gateway cities such as holidays to Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Orissa, etc.
