Escotel special SMS

KOCHI: Escotel Mobile Communications Ltd (Escotel) has launched a special SMS service under which every customer can send SMS to any GSM and many CDMA, TDMA and ANSI networks across the world.

The SMS would be charged at Rs 5 per message for all destinations except Kuwait, South Africa, Oman, the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar for which the SMS rate is just Rs 3 per message, according to an official press release here.

Launching the service, Mr B. Ramakrishna, Chief Operating Officer, Escotel-Kerala, said, "We have now opened all the frontiers for our customers who can now freely communicate to anyone and everyone across the world irrespective of the location and network."
