A TOUCH OF GLASS: Swarovski crystal products at its exclusive showroom in Kochi. Demand for the products is growing steadily. - K.K. Mustafah

Kochi , Nov. 24

SWAROVSKI'S only showroom in the State, opened recently here, is slowly becoming a centre of attraction, especially for those who want to give a sparkling gift to someone near and dear on a special occasion.

There has been, of late, a growing awareness about Swarovski's crystal products and people from the elite and middle-income groups have just started visiting the showroom, Ms K.P. Rajan, who manages the showroom told Business Line.

She said that there is a visible shift in some section of the women population from gold jewellery to Swarovski ornaments. "Fashion-conscious women want to complement their collection of fine jewellery with international fashion accessories like Swarovski jewellery."

Besides, demand is picking up for gifts, particularly from the corporate sector. The diversity of themes within the Swarovski product family provides an inexhaustible source of gift ideas for every occasion. As a reminder of many of life's little celebrations, Swarovski Crystal moments are recreated as delightful miniatures with astonishing detail, she said. Each piece is a familiar symbol of every day life, from a favourite activity towards a fantasy and an emotion. "Swarovski Crystal moments says things that words often cannot express".

Apart from crystal gift items, collectibles and jewellery, Swarovski also offers a wide range of fashion accessories that include jewellery, tattoos and crystal watches.
