Wipro, Intel to co-host seminars

COIMBATORE: WIPRO Infotech and Intel are planning to host a series of technology seminars titled `CIO Update' across the country.

The seminar in Coimbatore is slated for Friday. According to a release from Wipro, the focus would be on building business value through technology solutions and focuson CIOs. The latest technology solutions that can help reduce the cost of ownership across the entire lifecycle of IT investments are to be showcased during the event.

The General Manager of Wipro's personal computing products business, Mr Anil K. Jain, said . "Through these road shows, the intent is to showcase value-based computing solutions with Intel," he added.

There would also be demonstrations of Intel's hyper-threading technology and Intel Centrino mobile technology on Wipro platforms, he added.
