Kochi , Nov. 27

THE Catholic Syrian Bank Ltd has unveiled a new logo and corporate image for the bank on the occasion of its 84th foundation day.

The new logo was unveiled by Mr V. Krishamurthy, Banking Ombudsman for Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a function held in Thrissur on Wednesday evening.

Mr N.R. Achan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said that the purpose of the change of logo was to create a new image for the bank and to instil "dynamism and optimism" among the staff.

The Chairman said that the bank had set a target of Rs 10,000-crore business by March 2005.
