Jindal Polyester acquires French co

JINDAL Polyester Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has concluded the acquisition of Rexor, S.A., France, through a subsidiary company, Jindal France SAS on Tuesday.

The company was acquired for a cash consideration of 8.5 million euros. The acquisition was funded through an investment by Jindal Polyester, to the extent of the 3.6 million euros, and the balance raised through debt in Jindal France.

Rexor, SA, is a 50-year-old profit-making French company that specialises in various types of coating of plastic films for special applications and has an annual capacity of 4,000 MT and annual sales of 28 million euros. Its major product lines consist of flexible packaging, graphic arts and technical films and threads.
